Nuriche is being built upon a belief in goodness and is pioneering an unprecedented network marketing model anchored in global philanthropy. The mission of Nuriche and its charitable entity, My Firm Foundation, is to help others lead healthier, happier lives through education, mentoring and enterprise.
The company, through My Firm Foundation, helped bring joy to an often forgotten segment of society this past Friday, September 10th, when it sponsored Utah’s 6th Annual Golden Games. The games are the culmination of a year-round program that encourages seniors who live in assisted care or retirement communities to remain physically active. This year, the Nuriche Golden Games attracted hundreds of participants who took part in “Olympic-Style” events, such as shot put, basketball, volleyball, and bowling. Three-time Olympian Tracy Evans who founded the event said, “This year’s games would not have been possible without the generous support of Nuriche and My Firm Foundation.“
The pay-off was seeing the smiles and hearing the laughter and shouts as team members worked together to win the various competitions. In addition, hundreds of participants and volunteers had the opportunity to sample LiVE and ReVIVE at a booth manned by Nuriche employees Bob Freeze and Melanee Raynes. Partnerships like this are only the beginning of the impact My Firm Foundation will have as Nuriche grows domestically and expands into global markets.
Nuriche, under the auspices of My Firm Foundation, is this year’s sponsor of the Golden Games, an “Olympic style” year round program that focuses on seniors who live in assisted care or retirement communities (see www.goldenolympiangames.com). The Golden Games are hosted by the non-profit organization known as People Helping People (PHP).
The culmination of the year-long program is a day of friendly competition designed specifically for participants, and this year’s event will be known as the “Nuriche Golden Games.” The event will be held on Friday, September 10th from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at the South Towne Exposition Center in Sandy, Utah. The games, in their 6th year, are the brainchild of three-time Olympian Tracy Evans. The program enables these seniors to have a goal that motivates them to prepare for an event where they can show off their skills and be rewarded for their efforts. Other Olympic athletes join Tracy each year at the event to help out with the Opening and Medals Ceremonies as well as to act as judges, sign autographs, to serve as a guest speakers or simply root these seniors on in each of their events!
My Firm Foundation’s Executive Director Mike Mansfield said, “Our goal is to partner with organizations like People Helping People to empower individuals to improve their own lives. We are excited to have People Helping People as one of our first partners and are grateful for the difference they are making in the lives of this often forgotten segment of society.”
